Two Russian men and one German man have reportedly been asked to leave the WTA Diamond Games in Antwerp. They are suspected of using laptops which they were carrying with them to place bets with online betting sites.

It has been reported that unless online gambling operators that offer their services in the UK start voluntarily donating funds to the Responsibility in Gaming Trust, statutory levies may well be implemented by the government.

An appeals court in Britain has declared that, under UK law, poker is a game of chance and not skill and any private clubs wishing to host a poker game will need to be licensed to do so. This comes following an appeal by Derek Kelly of his conviction last year under the 1968 Gaming Act.
