Poker Resolutions for 2008
Looking back at my year as a poker player in 2007, I tally up my wins and losses and find, overall, I was a profitable player in 2007. But not in every aspect: I made money playing poker in tournaments (barely) and in home games, but was a huge ginormous loser in one place: Atlantic City. No matter if I played at the Borgata, the Taj, or the Tropicana, I lost. So my resolution for 2008 is to follow my own poker tips — don’t play until you’re exhausted and don’t drink at the table. I blame the latter for the former: If I hadn’t been tipsy, I probably would have stopped playing earlier. Live and learn!
