Away game, Middle Tucker
October 31st, 2007 by admin
I went to Matt’s to play in Middle Tucker last night. Some people decry shorthanded games, but most winning players love them. You see more hands and, better yet, they’re fun.
I was down to less than half a buy-in in 4- and 5-handed play when I quadrupled up on threes full of kings with K3 in an Omaha 8 hand. Then I kept on winning pots, one with a str8 with Q9 with a Q99 pineapple hand.
Left up two buy-ins, cashing out three (Hood to Coast 2-0), but it mainly was more fun just to catch up with everyone.
LOTS of poker coming up in the next few days. Can’t wait.
Happy Halloween and good hunting at the tables. You know they’re going to be good.
